The 3for3 Breast Cancer Awareness Walk first took place in October 2018 in Limerick City and proved to be a monumental success, raising over β¬100,000 for the Symptomatic Breast Unit in University Hospital Limerick since then.
It created an opportunity for the people of Limerick & beyond to physically get involved in the fundraising for this great cause with over 1000 people making their way to Limerick City to take part in the walk.
Over β¬100,000 raised to date with hundreds participating in the event
Money to date has been used to update the treatment room and new operating equipment such as Ligasure exact for surgical dissection
The goal this year is to raise β¬60,000 for the unit which will allow for the purchase of much needed theatre equipment
